With the goal of promoting and protecting the health of the most vulnerable population—especially children—the Fundación Nacional Vida Segura has established a strategic alliance with the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome, Italy, one of the world’s leading centers in pediatric medicine.

The agreement was formalized during a virtual meeting in which both institutions agreed on the importance of working together to implement pediatric assistance projects aimed at improving the quality of life of children and their families.

Representing the Fundación Nacional Vida Segura were its president, José Luis Camacho Miserendino, and its executive director, Julio César Caballero. On behalf of the Bambino Gesù Hospital, board chairman Tiziano Onesti and director of Internationalization David Ponzi participated.

“With this agreement, our institution reaffirms its commitment to protecting children’s health and to forming partnerships that transcend borders for the benefit of Bolivia,” said Camacho. “We believe that fighting for children’s health is fighting for the future of our country; that’s why we seek alliances that generate a real and lasting impact.”

The Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital, which is part of the Vatican health system, is internationally recognized for encompassing all pediatric medical and surgical specialties, including organ transplants, making it one of the most prestigious and advanced institutions in its field.

Through this alliance, the Fundación Nacional Vida Segura takes a crucial step toward strengthening its work in favor of children’s health in Bolivia, building bridges of cooperation with one of the world’s most renowned institutions.
