Fundación Legado, we seek to transform lives, strengthen values, and build a better future

Nacional Vida will provide personal accident coverage to the young athletes of Sporting Hub and aspiring professional footballers.
The Fundación Nacional Vida Segura was present at the official launch of the Fundación Legado, with which it maintains an inter-institutional agreement. Created by Jessica Kuljis and Rodrigo Marion, this new organization seeks to transform lives through education, health, nutrition, and sports, generating opportunities, strengthening values, and contributing to the construction of a better future. The event took place at the Sporting Hub facilities.
“Sport not only teaches how to compete, but also how to respect, work as a team, overcome difficulties, and understand that the most important achievements are reached through effort, discipline, and, above all, solidarity. That is the construction you are making right now,” noted Julio César Caballero, executive director of Fundación Nacional Vida Segura.
Caballero specifically highlighted that Fundación Legado promotes a comprehensive proposal that includes housing infrastructure, meal plans, and study scholarships. Furthermore, he considered that Legado’s initiative stems from a conviction that Fundación Nacional Vida Segura fully shares: working for every boy and girl who deserves an opportunity to grow, learn, and build a future with dignity and hope.
Within this framework, Caballero announced that the young athletes of Sporting Hub, including those training with the aspiration of becoming professional footballers, will have personal accident (PA) coverage through policies granted by Nacional Seguros. This protection seeks to provide them with greater support and peace of mind during the development of their sports activities, in the event of any accidents they may suffer while training or participating in their various activities.
For Caballero, Fundación Legado represents an opportunity to join forces, share experiences, and strengthen a shared vision: working for a society in which no child sees their future limited by the circumstances into which they were born. “When we unite capabilities and resources with clear objectives, social responsibility ceases to be a declaration of good intentions and becomes a real tool for societal transformation,” he concluded.
The launch brought together authorities and representatives from various sectors, including the Governor of Santa Cruz, Juan Pablo Velasco; the President of the Comité pro Santa Cruz, Stello Cochamanidis; Ivo Kuljis, owner and chairman of the board of directors of Grupo Kuljis; and Father Mateo Bautista García. Football figures and business leaders also attended to accompany the presentation of this new social initiative.
