5 December, 2024
The Nacional Vida Segura Foundation and the Grupo Nacional Vida have signed an agreement with UNICEF Bolivia to raise funds, execute communication campaigns, and develop social projects in support of the programs led by this United Nations agency, which is dedicated to protecting the rights of the most disadvantaged children.
The partnership was formalized with the signatures of José Luis Camacho Miserendino, Chairman of the Board of Grupo Nacional Vida, and Gregor von Medeazza, Deputy Representative of UNICEF Bolivia. Together, they committed to working collaboratively to positively impact the future of children and adolescents in the country.
During his welcome remarks, Camacho described the agreement as “an honor,” highlighting UNICEF as a key strategic ally. “UNICEF will be an essential partner in advancing the development of the four pillars upon which our social responsibility is based: sports, education, culture, and health. Each of the Group’s companies, through our Foundation, is actively promoting community well-being,” he stated.
For his part, Gregor von Medeazza expressed appreciation for the support that Grupo Nacional Vida has provided to UNICEF over several years, particularly in high-visibility events. He emphasized his confidence in the significant work they can accomplish together, always aimed at improving the quality of life for Bolivian children.
Present at the event were Nadia Eid, Communication Manager of Grupo Nacional Seguros; Julio César Caballero, Executive Director of Nacional Vida Segura Foundation; Rodrigo Fonseca, Head of Partnerships at UNICEF; and Yecid Arce, UNICEF’s Fundraising Officer.
