Joining Rotary Club Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Their Mission: To Help

17 June, 2025

Rotary Clubs bring together individuals from different generations who strive to create lasting change in the world, in their communities, and in themselves. With this in mind, the Nacional Vida Segura Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with the Rotary Club Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

“Rotary creates social impact; their work is outstanding, and we truly value it,” said José Luis Camacho Miserendino, President of the Foundation. In turn, Fernando Amelunge, President of the Rotary Club, stated: “We aim to help and respond to the needs of the population, but we can’t do it alone — we need inter-institutional partnerships like this one.”

Joining Amelunge at the signing were Freddy Égüez, Alan Campbell Balcázar, Luis Ramiro Peña, Karina Rocabado (President of the Women’s Division), Camilo Tórrez, Patricia Gairand, and Fernando Soriano — all close companions who expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration.

Julio César Caballero, Executive Director of the Foundation, emphasized the importance of the agreement, noting that it will enable the implementation of many health-focused projects to benefit citizens throughout the Santa Cruz region. “We know Rotary members reach various communities across Santa Cruz with their support. We are proud to accompany them in that extraordinary mission,” he stated.
